Our Fun Run is right around the corner on Thursday, October 8th, and the excitement is building!

Fundraising Update 🏃‍♂️ 💵

Thanks to your amazing support, we’ve already reached 30% of our $30,000 goal, with $8,875 raised so far. To cross the finish line and reach $30k, we’re asking each student to aim for an average of $73 in donations. Every contribution directly funds classroom supplies, school-wide events, and PTO programs for our kids.

What happens when we hit $30k?

• 📚 $5 in Scholastic Dollars for EVERY student to spend at the Spring Book Fair!
• 🏰 A Bounce House for EVERYONE at Field Day!

🏃‍♂️ Fun Run Grade Level Schedule

• 2nd Grade: 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM
• 1st Grade: 9:00 AM – 9:30 AM
• 3rd Grade: 9:30 AM – 10:00 AM
• 4th Grade: 10:05 AM – 10:35 AM
• 5th Grade: 10:35 AM – 11:05 AM
• Kindergarten: 11:05 AM – 11:30 AM

🤝 Volunteers Needed

We need parent volunteers to help make Fun Run day run smoothly, stay organized, and keep the energy high!

Since grade levels run at designated times throughout the morning, you are welcome to sign up for your student's grade level shift or any time slot that works best for your schedule.

Volunteer Roles Include:

• Class Helpers (All Grades): Direct students to the start/finish lines, cheer them on, and hand out popsicles at the end of their run!
• Lap Trackers (Grades 3–5): Hand out rubber band bracelets to students each time they complete a lap around the bus loop, then help with popsicles at the end.

Note: All volunteer shifts begin 10 minutes before the grade's run time to get everyone positioned, and end 15 minutes after they finish. If you want to help at overlapping shifts, that's ok, we'll make it work!

Thanks to everyone who grabbed lunch or dinner during our September fundraiser, we raised $1,351 for the Radio Park PTO! We are so grateful to our school community for coming out, taking a night off from cooking, and directly supporting our students and teachers.

Join us for our next meeting! More information and future dates are always available on our website and Google calendar. Join us in person at Radio Park, in the library. The doors to the school are locked for security. If there is not someone at the front door, there will be a sign with a phone number to text or call. • Event Organizers Needed: If you are interested in helping organize any of our events this year, please take a moment to fill out our PTO Volunteer Interest Form. (Note: If you're only available for day-of help during events, don't worry! We will send out separate sign-up sheets as each event approaches.)

• Volunteer Clearances: Most of our PTO volunteer opportunities do not require clearances. However, if you want to get ahead on your paperwork so you're ready for anything that might require them later—such as classroom field trip chaperoning—please follow the SCASD District Volunteer Guidelines.
• Annual Renewal Note: If you've submitted clearances in the past, please keep in mind that the district requires at least one form to be renewed annually!

School Directory

The Radio Park PTO Directory is a helpful resource for connecting with other families in our school community for playdates, birthday parties, homework questions, and more! It is maintained directly by the PTO and is strictly confidential within Radio Park families.

• Annual Opt-In Required: To protect privacy, information does not roll over from previous years. You must submit a new form each school year to be included.
• How It Works: First, complete the directory form. Once submitted, our PTO team will review your submission and grant you view access to the directory spreadsheet!
